Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Peningkatan Tekanan Darah pada Pekerja di PT Wijaya Triutama Plywood Industri Banjarmasin
Abstract
Latar Belakang: Hipertensi menjadi salah satu penyakit tidak menular yang menyebabkan kematian prematur di dunia. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari pengukuran tekanan darah pekerja PT Wijaya Triutama Plywood Industri Banjarmasin pada bulan Desember 2022, ditemukan bahwa sebanyak 21,4% pekerja tergolong normal, 54,5% pekerja tergolong prahipertensi, 23,2% pekerja tergolong hipertensi tingkat 1, dan 0,9% pekerja tergolong hipertensi tingkat 2. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor yang berhubungan dengan peningkatan tekanan darah pada pekerja di PT Wijaya Tirutama Plywood Industri Banjarmasin.
Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat cross-sectional yang dilaksanakan di PT Wijaya Triutama Plywood Industri Banjarmasin pada bulan Maret 2023 dengan sampel sebanyak 30 orang yang diambil secara random sampling. Variabel independen pada penelitian ini adalah usia, Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT), masa kerja, shift kerja, kebiasaan merokok, konsumsi kafein, dan stres kerja. Variabel dependen pada penelitian ini adalah tekanan darah. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner karakteristik individu, kuesioner pengukuran stres kerja, dan alat pengukur tekanan darah digital. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-square dan uji korelasi Spearman.
Hasil: Hasil penelitian menemukan sebanyak 15 (50%) tekanan darah pekerja masuk ke dalam kategori prahipertensi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji statistik, ditemukan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) (p=0,019) dengan tekanan darah.
Kesimpulan: Hubungan yang signifikan dengan tekanan darah ditemukan pada variabel Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT). Sebagai saran, perusahaan dapat merencanakan menu gizi seimbang dengan memperhatikan kandungan gizi untuk mengurangi hipertensi pekerja.

Background: Hypertension is one diseases that caused a worldwide premature death. Based on the data obtained from measuring the blood pressure of workers at PT Wijaya Triutama Plywood Industry Banjarmasin in December 2022, it was found that 21.4% of workers had normal blood pressure, 54.5% of workers had prehypertension, 23.2% of workers had stage 1 hypertension, and 0.9% of workers had stage 2 hypertension. This study aims to analyse factors which is corelated to the increase of PT Wijaya Triutama Plywood Industri workers’ blood pressure.
Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted at PT Wijaya Triutama Plywood Industri Banjarmasin in March 2023 with a sample of 30 individuals which was determined by random sampling method. The independent variables were age, Body Mass Index (BMI), length of employment, work shifts, smoking habits, caffeine consumption, and work-related stress. The dependent variable in this study was blood pressure. Individual characteristic and stress measurement questionnaire along with digital blood pressure device were used in the data retrieval process. The Chi-square test and the Spearman correlation test were performed for data analysis.
Results: This study discovered that 15 (50%) workers had prehypertension. Based on the statistical analysis, Body Mass Index (BMI) (p=0.019) had a significant correlation with blood pressure.
Conclusion: The variable that had a significant correlation with blood pressure is Body Mass Index (BMI). Companies can plan a balanced nutritional menu by managing the nutritional content to reduce hypertension in workers.
