Faktor-Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Nilai Kadar Glukosa Darah Sewaktu pada Pra Lansia di Posbindu Puskesmas Bojong Rawalumbu
Abstract
Latar Belakang: Penyakit diabetes melitus (DM) khususnya tipe 2 sudah menjadi satu jenis tantangan kesehatan dalam masyarakat yang saat ini dihadapi oleh negara Indonesia. Kategori umur 45 tahun keatas perlu mendapatkan kepedulian lebih dalam hal pelacakan awal dan pengelolaan diabetes, guna mencegah persoalan selanjutnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan faktor-faktor (ukuran lingkar perut, indeks massa tubuh/IMT, asupan serat dan indeks glikemik makanan) dengan nilai kadar glukosa darah sewaktu pada pra lansia di Posbindu Puskesmas Bojong Rawalumbu.
Metode: Studi Cross-sectional dilakukan dari bulan Agustus hingga Desember 2020. Sampel diambil menggunakan metode stratified random sampling. Terpilih 102 responden yang berusia antara 49-59 tahun. Pengumpulan data antropometri yaitu berat badan (BB), tinggi badan (TB), dan ukuran lingkar perut. Asupan serat dan indeks glikemik makanan diukur dengan melakukan food recall selama 2 x 24 jam. Data dianalisis dengan uji korelasi Spearman.
Hasil: Terdapat hubungan antara ukuran lingkar perut (nilai p = 0,001, r = 0,331) dan IMT (nilai p = 0,006, r = 0,270) dengan kadar glukosa darah sewaktu. Serta tidak ada hubungan antara asupan serat (nilai p = 0,638, r = 0,047) dan indeks glikemik makanan (nilai p = 0,989, r = 0,001) dengan kadar gula darah sewaktu.
Kesimpulan: Variabel yang mempengaruhi tingkat glukosa darah sewaktu pada kelompok usia pra lansia adalah lingkar perut dan IMT.

Background: Diabetes mellitus (DM), especially type 2, has become a type of health challenge in society that is currently being faced by the country of Indonesia. The age category of 45 years and over needs to receive more attention in terms of early tracking and management of diabetes, in order to prevent further problems. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between factors (abdominal circumference, body mass index/BMI, fiber intake and food glycemic index) with the value of blood glucose levels during the elderly at Integrated Coaching Post Bojong Rawalumbu Public Health Center.
Method: A Cross-sectional study was conducted during August to December 2020. Samples were selected through stratified random sampling. About 102 subjects aged between 49-59 years were selected. Anthropometric data were collected which body weight, height, and abdominal circumference. Fiber intake and food glycemic index were measured by conducting a food recall for 2x24 hours. Data were analyzed using the Spearman correlation test.
Results: There was a relationship between abdominal circumference (p value = 0.001, r = 0.331) and BMI (p value = 0.006, r = 0.270) with instantaneous blood glucose levels. And there was no relationship between fiber intake (p value = 0.638, r = 0.047) and food glycemic index (p value = 0.989, r = 0.001) with instant blood sugar levels.
Conclusion: Variables that associated to blood glucose levels during the pre elderly age group were abdominal circumference and BMI.
